Brothh, operated by Otesse ("we," "us," or "our"), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We wrote it to be readable β if anything is unclear, email us at hello@brothh.com.

3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We share information only in these limited cases:
- With service providers we use to run Brothh, such as Convex (our database and backend), Postmark (transactional email), and Vercel (web hosting). These providers only process data on our behalf and under contractual obligations to protect it.

- For legal reasons, when required to comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Brothh, our users, or the public.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You will be notified if your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
4. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how people use Brothh. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may limit functionality (for example, you may need to sign in more often).
We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools to measure aggregate usage. We do not use third-party advertising networks that track you across unrelated websites.

If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA. We honor these rights regardless of where you live.
6. Children's Privacy
Brothh is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, email hello@brothh.com and we will delete it.
7. Data Retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except information we are required to retain for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes. Aggregated or anonymized data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information: encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we ever experience a breach that affects your information, we will notify you as required by law.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice in the Service before the changes take effect. The date at the top of the page indicates when it was last updated.
